Lamp Timer
An Arduino sketch to display a countdown timer for 8 seconds before turning on a lamp and counting down from 20 seconds before turning off, with support for illuminated pushbuttons and cancellation.

Getting Started
- You need PlatformIO installed and configured.
- Download the latest release of CountUpDownTimer and put it in the
/lib/folder. See README.txt in the folder for more information. - Open the project, and set the pin assignments to match your project.
- Build and run.
Hardware Requirements
- Arduino Uno R3 or equivalent (check those pin assignments!)
- 2x illuminated pushbuttons (or 2x pushbuttons and 2x LEDs)
- 2x 74HC595 shift registers
- 2x Common anode 7-segment displays
- Wire and the appropriate resistors for your hardware

I consider this project complete as of 2018. I've edited my real name out of the schematic and and reconstructed the git history using Conventional Commits in 2023.
