# Lamp Timer
An Arduino sketch to display a countdown timer for 8 seconds before turning on a lamp and counting down from 20 seconds before turning off, with support for illuminated pushbuttons and cancellation.

## Getting Started
* You need [PlatformIO](https://platformio.org/) installed and configured.
* Download the latest release of [CountUpDownTimer](https://github.com/AndrewMascolo/CountUpDownTimer) and put it in the ``/lib/`` folder. See [README.txt](/lib/readme.txt) in the folder for more information.
* Open the project, and set the pin assignments to match your project.
* Build and run.

## Hardware Requirements
* Arduino Uno R3 or equivalent (check those pin assignments!)
* 2x illuminated pushbuttons (or 2x pushbuttons and 2x LEDs)
* 2x 74HC595 shift registers
* 2x Common anode 7-segment displays
* Wire and the appropriate resistors for your hardware
